ARUNACHAL PRADESH is known as ‘Orchid State of India’ or ‘Paradise of the Botanists’ and is host to one of Asia’s largest Orchidrum.Arunachal Pradesh is internationally famous for its extensive geographical & diversity with a variety of rare wildlife,flora and fauna. It is the only Indian state that can claim to have four major varieties of the big cat in its jungle: Tiger,Leopard,Snow leopard & more than 500 species of birds have been recorded here.
The major attractions to Tourist are: Tawang,Roing, Ziro, Bhalukpong, Pasighat, Along, Dirang etc.

Tawang

 

Surrounded by lakes, Tawang is a quaint, sleepy town perched at a high altitude, with stunning valley,drizzling rivers and breath-taking waterfalls. Every corner of this appealing town is soothing to mind and soul and this place is also known to be the birthplace of the sixth Dalai Lama. Housing 400 year old Tawang monastery,the valley of Tawang offers stunning views of picturesque lakes and snow clad peaks.The most attractive places here are – Sela Pass, Taktsang Gompa, Gorichen Peak, Shonga-tser Lake, Nuranang Waterfalls,Pankang Teng Tso Lake,Bumla Pass, Bap Teng Kang Waterfalls,Jaswant Garh,The Bailey Trail etc

 

Ziro

 

Ziro or the ‘Land Of Apatani Tribe’ is a World Heritage Site which is a charming eastern Himalayan town. The stunning landscape of Ziro Valley encompasses lush rice paddy farms,burbling rivulets and dense settlements of bamboo houses. Cool summers and cooler winters are characteristics of Ziro. The place is also famous for the Ziro Festival held in the month of September where tourist comes from all over the world to enjoy the cultural evenings and camping over there.The most attractive places here are – Talley Valley Wildlife Sanctuary, Meghna Cave Temple, Midey, Dolo Mando, Pine Grove etc.

 

Roing

 

Roing have the most fascinating sights of mountains,deep gorges, Trivulent Rivers cascading down the hills,numerous waterfalls,placid lakes,archaeological sites,peace and fun loving hospitable people.The Bhishmaknagar fort and Nehru Udyan add historical significance to the place.Myodia pass,however,steals the limelight with snow coverage for most of the traveler.
